  • EVANS, TIMOTHY EDGAR (1912 - 2007), opera singer Edgar Evans was born at Cwrt Farm near Cwrtnewydd, Ceredigion, on 9 June 1912, the youngest of 13 children of William Evans (d. 1927) and his wife Margaret (d. 1947).
