ALLCHURCH, IVOR JOHN

Allchurch was born on 16 October 1929 at 66 Waun-wen Road, Swansea. He was the sixth of seven children born to Charles Wilfred Allchurch (1894-1956) and his wife Mabel Sarah (née Miller; 1895-1982), who were both originally from Dudley in the West Midlands. His younger brother Leonard 'Len' Allchurch, (1933-2016) was also a well-known professional footballer and Welsh international. Their
