JONES, THOMAS JERMAN
(1833 - 1890), missionary for twenty years with the Welsh Calvinistic Methodists
Born 10 August 1833 at Llangristiolus, Anglesey, son of
John
Jones and Jane, née Jerman; he worked in early life on the farm and later as a quarryman at Bethesda, Caernarfonshire, where he was temporarily disabled through an accident. He studied at Clynnog school under Eben Fardd and later at Bala C.M. College (1860-3). He was ordained and ministered amongst the Welsh in the North of England
