LEWIS, JANET ELLEN
(1900 - 1979), novelist, poet and journalist
on the editorial staff of the Daily News and the Sunday Times in the 1930s. In 1937 she married Graeme Hendrey; they had one daughter, Katrina, and the family moved to live in rural Surrey.
