IEUAN ap HUW CAE LLWYD (fl. 1475-1500), one of the minor poets of the 15th century
IEUAN ap HYWEL SWRDWAL (fl. 1430-1480), poet son of the poet Hywel Swrdwal. Both were associated with the Cydewain district of Powys and with Newtown. They are reputed to have lived for a time at Machynlleth. Among the poems attributed to Ieuan is an awdl to the Virgin Mary written in English but using the strict metres and orthography of Welsh. Its title is ' Owdyl i Fair a wnaeth kymbro yn Rhudychen ' etc. and its first line - 'O meichti

IEUAN ap IEUAN ap MADOG (fl. 1547-1587), scribe Chevalier errant (printed at Antwerp, 1557) was first published in 1581, the Welsh version must be placed later. Other papers by Ieuan ap Ieuan were at one time sewn in the binding of this manuscript. They were taken out during the last century, and are preserved at the National Library (NLW MS 280D and Lloyd Verney Document 20). IEUAN ap LLYWELYN FYCHAN (bu farw 1532), poet A member of the family of Llannerch, Vale of Clwyd, and father of Gruffydd ap Ieuan ap Llywelyn Fychan. Some of his work remains, and this includes vaticinatory and love poems.
IEUAN ap MADOG ap DAFYDD (fl. c. 1500), poet details of his life are unknown, but some of his work remains in manuscript. This includes poems in praise of Sir William Griffith of Penrhyn, and John Puleston, an elegy to the poet Syr Dafydd Trefor, a bardic controversy, or ymryson, with Ieuan Dylyniwr, and a satirical poem to Padrig Wyddel (Patrick the Irishman).

IEUAN ap RHYDDERCH ap IEUAN LLWYD (fl. 1430-1470), gentleman and poet Son of Rhydderch ap Ieuan Llwyd of Rhydderch Park, in the parish of Lanbadarn Odyn, a wealthy landowner who held office under the Crown in 1387. According to Dwnn, i, 28, the mother of ' Ieuan ap Rhydderch ab Ieuan Llwyd y prydydd ' was Annes, daughter of Gwilym ap Philip ab Elidir. But Dwnn, i, 45, 85, states that Rhydderch ap Ieuan Llwyd married twice, (1) ' Marged ferch Gruffydd Gryg ap Ieuan
