JAMES, THOMAS EVAN (Thomas ap Ieuan; 1824 - 1870), Baptist minister, and author Born 17 March 1824 at Pencraig, Llangoedmor, Cardiganshire, the son of Evan and Mary James. The family moved to Cardigan when he was about 13 years of age. He worked for a while as a farm labourer at Heol-cwm, Verwick, Cardiganshire.
