  • MORGAN GAM (bu farw 1241), lord of the Welsh barony of Avan Wallia (or Nedd-Afan) in the honour of Glamorgan Gronw ap Einion, though one of his charters refers to a wife called Matilda. He had at least three sons of whom Morgan Fychan is the best known. A daughter, Maud, married a Turberville of Coity. He died in February 1240-1, and was buried at Margam.
